Last updated: September 13, 2026
Pull Chocks ("we," "us," or "our") operates Pull Chocks, an aircraft maintenance CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our website and services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly and information generated through your use of the service.
- Account and profile information: name, email address, password (stored hashed), and shop name.
- Shop and operational data: work orders, aircraft records, customers, employees, parts inventory, squawks, documents, and related maintenance data you enter into the CMMS.
- Payment information: subscription billing details processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
- Usage and technical data: log data, browser type, IP address, and similar information needed to operate and secure the service.
2. QuickBooks Online Integration
If your shop connects Pull Chocks to QuickBooks Online, we access and process accounting-related data as directed by authorized shop managers. This may include:
- Connection credentials: OAuth access and refresh tokens and your QuickBooks company identifier (realm ID), stored encrypted in our database.
- Company information: your connected QuickBooks company name and configuration details needed to operate the integration.
- Customer data sent to QuickBooks: customer display names, email addresses, phone numbers, and billing addresses when invoices are synced.
- Invoice data: invoice numbers, dates, line items (labor, parts, and miscellaneous charges), tax settings, notes, and payment status.
- Tax rates: sales tax rates imported from QuickBooks into your shop settings when you choose to import them.
QuickBooks integration is optional and initiated by your shop. We sync data only when you connect the integration and perform sync actions within the application.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the CMMS and related features.
- Process subscription payments and manage your account.
- Sync accounting data with QuickBooks Online at your direction.
- Communicate with you about your account, support requests, and service updates.
- Detect, prevent, and address security issues, fraud, and legal compliance obligations.
4. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party providers to operate Pull Chocks:
- Stripe for subscription payment processing. Stripe's privacy practices are described at stripe.com/privacy.
- Intuit QuickBooks Online when you connect the integration. Intuit's privacy practices are described at intuit.com/privacy.
These providers process data according to their own privacy policies and our agreements with them. We share only the information necessary for them to perform their services.
5. Data Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information. QuickBooks OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. Payment card data is handled by Stripe in accordance with PCI DSS requirements. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain account and shop data for as long as your subscription is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
When you disconnect QuickBooks within Pull Chocks, we revoke OAuth tokens with Intuit and delete stored tokens and company connection data from our systems. You may also revoke app access at any time through your Intuit account settings.
7. Your Choices
- QuickBooks: connect or disconnect the integration from Shop → QuickBooks in your account.
- Subscription: cancel your subscription through your account settings or the Stripe Customer Portal.
- Account data: contact us to request access to or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law and legitimate business needs.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
